Health and Safety Coordinator (Cor Experience)

We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator with COR certification experience to help manage safety programs in our construction/telecom projects across Ontario. This role will focus on maintaining compliance with safety regulations, providing training, and supporting a safe working environment for all staff.

Job Description: 

• Implement and maintain safety programs in line with COR certification and applicable regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OHSA and other safety standards.
• Deliver safety training sessions and orientations to workers.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain all necessary safety documentation and records.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in COR audits.
• Assist project managers with safety planning on construction and telecom sites.
• Promote safety awareness and best practices across the workforce.]

• Job Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in health and safety within construction or telecom.
• Experience with COR certification and related safety audits.
• OHSA knowledge and experience in the construction/telecom sector.
• Health and Safety certification (e.g., CRSP, NCSO) is an asset.
• First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, Working at Heights certifications are required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Valid G driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
