Health and Safety Coordinator (Cor Experience)
We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator with COR certification experience to help manage safety programs in our construction/telecom projects across Ontario. This role will focus on maintaining compliance with safety regulations, providing training, and supporting a safe working environment for all staff.
Job Description:
- Implement and maintain safety programs in line with COR certification and applicable regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OHSA and other safety standards.
- Deliver safety training sessions and orientations to workers.
- Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain all necessary safety documentation and records.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in COR audits.
- Assist project managers with safety planning on construction and telecom sites.

- Job Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in health and safety within construction or telecom.
- Experience with COR certification and related safety audits.
- OHSA knowledge and experience in the construction/telecom sector.
- Health and Safety certification (e.g., CRSP, NCSO) is an asset.
- First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, Working at Heights certifications are required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid G driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
